Our Shetland Section
Our breeding program evolves around two exquisite modern stallions, Simply Radiant WAH and A Cut Above WAH. Both were bred by the long time Shetland breeder Warren Hanson. Both stallions are out of Red Velvet Polly II who was out of Red Velvet Polly by Blue Skies. Blues Skies was out of My Little Margie by Equality (MR. Sandman) Both blue skies and Equality were noted Champions and Equality retired undefeated.
Red Velvet Polly II's dam, Red Velvet Polly was out of Larigos Red Velvet by Sunny Acres airborne Rocket. Larigos Red Velvet was toe top selling mare at the historic Heyl Pony Farm sale in the mid '60's and was out of Larigos Dark Magic.
Simply Radiant WAH was sired by AGS Simply Awesome (1998 World Ch.) who is out of Kilbros Willie Doo (6 time Congress Nat'l. halter champion.) "Rad" was show in 2004 in halter and formal pleasure achieving a total of 5 Grand championships in his first year.
A Cut Above WAH was sired by Greismeres Tim Tom who was by Tim Tom (1974-75 Nat'l halter Ch. at the Shetland congress).
